Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and iterate on interactive Tableau dashboards that surface critical performance metrics for internal stakeholders.
• Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Conduct deep‑dive analyses to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities within large data sets, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Workflow Mapping & Optimization: Model current workflow states, document complex processes, and identify target areas for improvement across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to understand business goals and align analytical deliverables accordingly.
• Iterative Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from end‑users of dashboards, refine visualizations, and continuously enhance the usability and relevance of reporting tools.
• Change Enablement: Act as a catalyst for data‑driven decision making, helping teams adopt best practices and operationalize insights to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Technical Documentation: Produce clear documentation of data pipelines, dashboard logic, and workflow processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.
• Metrics Definition & Governance: Define, track, and enforce standards for key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CI/CD efficiency, DORA metrics, and LEAN delivery metrics.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or a closely related role.
• Strong foundation in analytics concepts, including data visualization, statistical analysis, and the Analytics Maturity Curve (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, Prescriptive).
• Proven ability to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau—building complex visualizations, calculated fields, and performance‑optimized dashboards.
• Expertise in SQL—writing aggregation queries, nested sub‑queries, and performing data validation at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with software development analytics, including CI/CD pipelines, DORA metrics, and LEAN software delivery principles.
• Hands‑on experience with software development processes such as build pipelines, merge/review workflows, and code deployment automation.
• Product ownership experience—accountable for delivering measurable impact through analytics‑driven initiatives.
• Project management capabilities—planning, coordinating, and driving cross‑functional projects toward unified goals.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow) is a plus.
