As a Senior Monetary Bookkeeping Expert, you will be the guardian of financial integrity for our corporate bookkeeping team. Your work will directly influence the month‑end close, quarterly reporting, and the strategic decisions that shape the future of our entertainment portfolio. Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Accounting – Corporate, you will be expected to:

• Lead the preparation and review of general ledger entries and the month‑end close cycle for corporate accounting, including the creation and analysis of journal entries for intercompany eliminations, intercompany allocations, and related‑party transactions.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve monthly and quarterly reporting packages for key financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Perform detailed reconciliations of intercompany accounts, promptly identifying and resolving out‑of‑balance items in collaboration with the intercompany settlements team.
• Track and evaluate related‑party transactions throughout the fiscal year, conducting valuation analyses to confirm that all related‑party dealings are conducted at arm’s length.
• Partner closely with the Finance, Tax, and Legal groups within Controllership to gather and validate supporting documentation for complex transactions.
• Collaborate directly with the Manager, Financial Accounting – Corporate on ad‑hoc projects, process improvement initiatives, and system enhancements.
• Assist in the preparation of arenaflex’s budget forecasts by developing financial schedules and supporting assumptions for intercompany activities.
• Research complex accounting issues, draft accounting memoranda, and communicate changes in accounting treatment to stakeholders.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and facilitating audit meetings.
• Mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices, technical accounting concepts, and effective data‑entry techniques.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following core qualifications:

• Three or more years of hands‑on accounting experience, with a focus on intercompany accounting, eliminations, and related‑party transactions.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles, particularly those governing intercompany and related‑party accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite—Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
