Role Overview – Information Expert II

The Information Expert II (also known as Data Analyst II) sits at the heart of arenaflex’s Data Adventures division. You will be the analytical engine that transforms complex client data into clear, strategic narratives. Working closely with product teams, technology groups, and business stakeholders, you will design, build, and maintain dashboards, data pipelines, and analytical models that drive product performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Exploration & Insight Generation: Conduct deep‑dive analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities hidden within large, multi‑source datasets.
• Dashboard & Visualization Development: Create compelling, interactive visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to non‑technical audiences.
• Data Quality & Governance: Partner with data stewards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
• ETL Pipeline Construction: Design, implement, and maintain robust ETL jobs using SQL, Python, Presto, and cloud‑based orchestration platforms (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
• Product Impact Analysis: Measure and evaluate the performance of new product releases, providing actionable feedback to product managers and engineers.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work alongside arenaflex Digital Citizenship, arenaflex Global Tech, and product teams to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions.
• Statistical Modeling & AI Basics: Apply basic statistical techniques and introductory machine‑learning concepts to enrich data insights.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce clear documentation, data dictionaries, and best‑practice guides to foster a data‑literate organization.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language for data manipulation (Python, R, or Scala).
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
