Summary of the role You will be responsible as Sales Manager for meeting revenue and gross margin targets for Optical Sensors and Metrology (OSM) Systems Product lines in the EMEA region. Account and relationship management of direct accounts while maximizing channel partner efforts are key aspects of the role including global coordination of efforts. This position is a hands-on technical sales position requiring technical presentations and product demonstrations to channel partners, prospects, and customers. Role and Responsibilities Sales and Account Management role: Develop and pursue new business/market opportunities and manage project activity and customer relationships to achieve revenue and growth objectives set for the Systems Product Lines. Manage relationships at direct accounts including OEMs to optimize revenue and gross margin. Manage channel partners (manufacturers’ representatives and distributors) to optimize revenue and gross margin. Review distribution network in territory and strive to continually improve the channel performance with efforts such as putting in replacement or improvement for underperforming representatives and distributors. Plan and participate in trade shows to promote products and create opportunities. Maintain customer profiles and up to date information through the CRM system and provide feedback to management, including reports on sales activities, prepare short-term and long-term sales forecasts. Gather relevant market information, including latest technology and industry trends, competitor developments, changes in existing markets and the emergence of new markets for feedback to product management teams Technical role: Coordinate product demonstrations and evaluations that lead to a sale either directly or via the distribution team. Summarize technical situations/business opportunities and share with management and internal stakeholders via our CRM platform. Participate in the global applications forum and communicate new applications of products to resolve customer problems. Use of Return-On-Investment analysis based on global use cases with customers to proliferate use of the WaferSense products within the customer base. Provide training on products to customers and channel partners as required. Support continuous improvement and innovation by providing feedback to product and engineering teams, reporting problems and/or suggesting enhancements for our products. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above (engineering or scientific degree preferred) 5-8 years’ experience in a similar technical sales role with business development experience a plus PCBA, Semiconductor backend, and customer or supplier experience as a process or equipment engineer or manager preferred Fluent in English both written and spoken; Other language skills like German, French, Italian, or others are a plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills working with customers and internal stakeholders Proactive and aggressive in business; self-driven and result oriented. Experience with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, TEAMS); should have experience using a CRM package (Salesforce, C4C, etc.). Travel Within the EMEA 50% to 65%; Internationally 5%
