As an Experienced Retail Customer Service Cashier at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in delivering fast, friendly, and accurate services to our customers. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean and welcoming spaces while providing exceptional customer experiences. With a focus on teamwork and flexibility, you'll have the opportunity to perform various duties and take on new challenges as our business needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs
  • Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws
  • Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, including your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
  • Perform additional duties as needed, including cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles Essential Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and flexibility
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous retail or customer service experience
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent Skills and Competencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and flexibility
