We are currently hiring a Remote Part-Time Outbound Customer Service Representative – Mission-Driven Outreach & Client Engagement Specialist to join our growing community of changemakers. Position Overview
As an Outbound Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the voice of our organization on a daily basis, reaching out to prospective clients, members, and partners from a curated lead list. Your primary focus will be outbound engagement — initiating thoughtful, value-driven conversations that introduce our programs, services, and leadership initiatives to individuals and organizations who can benefit from them.
You will also serve as a responsive point of contact for inbound inquiries, ensuring every person who reaches out to arenaflex feels heard, supported, and informed. The ideal candidate brings a balance of sales confidence, customer empathy, and mission alignment. You are someone who can talk with authority and warmth in equal measure, who documents meticulously, and who enjoys contributing to the continuous improvement of outreach strategy alongside a collaborative remote team.
This is a part-time position scheduled for 3 days per week, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, fully remote within the United States. The role pays $9.00 – $10.00 per hour, with a target of 12 hours per week, plus a robust benefits package and genuine opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Outreach & Lead Engagement: Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to a structured lead list provided by arenaflex, introducing prospective clients and partners to our services, programs, and leadership initiatives with clarity, confidence, and warmth.
- Rapport Building & Relationship Development: Build genuine, positive relationships with prospective clients through active listening, empathy, and persuasive storytelling that highlights the value of arenaflex’s offerings.
- Lead Qualification & Pipeline Management: Identify, qualify, and prioritize leads based on interest level, fit, and potential — ensuring the sales pipeline remains healthy and focused on high-quality opportunities.
- Inbound Inquiry Response: Follow up promptly on inbound inquiries, addressing questions, concerns, and requests with accuracy, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset.
- CRM Documentation & Reporting: Log every interaction, update, and outcome in our CRM system to maintain accurate records, support team reporting, and enable effective follow-up procedures.
- Campaign Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with fellow representatives, marketing, and program staff to strategize, test, and continuously optimize outbound calling campaigns for maximum impact and conversion.
- Performance Against Targets: Meet and exceed established KPIs for outbound call volume, lead conversion rates, and customer satisfaction metrics — while maintaining a quality-first approach to every conversation.
- Mission Alignment in Every Call: Serve as a brand ambassador for arenaflex’s mission, ensuring that every interaction reflects our values of empowerment, equity, and inclusion.
Essential Qualifications
- Customer Service or Sales Background: Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, telemarketing, fundraising, or a related role, with a demonstrated track record of success in outbound calling environments.
- Outstanding Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication — a clear, friendly, and professional phone presence — coupled with strong written communication skills for messaging and follow-up notes.
- Rapport Building Ability: Strong interpersonal skills and the natural ability to build trust quickly with individuals from diverse backgrounds, industries, and seniority levels.
- Self-Motivated & Results-Oriented: A proactive, goal-driven mindset with the ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and consistently hit performance targets.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort using CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to track activity, log notes, and manage pipelines, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Team Collaboration: The ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative remote team, contributing ideas, sharing feedback, and supporting shared goals.
