Role Overview

As a Salesforce Data Entry Returnship Associate, you will be responsible for entering, labeling, and enriching data within our Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. You will collaborate with a globally distributed team representing more than 25 cultures, using a suite of research tools to verify and augment contact information, bios, and partnership details. This part‑time, flexible remote position offers 5–20 hours per week, with a minimum six‑month commitment, allowing you to balance personal responsibilities while gaining valuable experience in a tech‑for‑good nonprofit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Entry: Input new records and update existing entries in Salesforce with a focus on precision and consistency.
  • Labeling & Categorization: Apply appropriate pull‑down labels and tags to facilitate robust tracking, reporting, and analytics.
  • Research & Verification: Use tools such as Spokeo and Snov.io to locate and confirm contact details for clients, partners, and volunteers.
  • Bio Enrichment: Gather and enter biographical information, organizational histories, and mission statements to enrich partner profiles.
  • Special Projects: When proven success and a positive attitude are demonstrated, take on ad‑hoc initiatives that may include data clean‑ups, process improvements, or pilot programs.
  • Collaboration: Communicate regularly with cross‑functional teams—including fundraising, program management, and technology—to ensure data aligns with broader organizational goals.
  • Compliance & Security: Adhere to arenaflex’s data privacy policies and maintain confidentiality of sensitive donor and volunteer information.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training. Strong academic performance (high GPA) is welcomed.
  • Salesforce Experience: Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Salesforce data entry, including familiarity with custom objects, fields, and validation rules.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven ability to spot inconsistencies, correct errors, and maintain high data quality standards.
  • Research Skills: Comfortable using online research tools to locate contact information and verify biographical data.
