Join arenaflex: Where Precision Meets Purpose in Healthcare Administration

arenaflex is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to transforming the healthcare administration landscape through accuracy, empathy, and innovation. In an industry where every data point can influence a patient's access to critical care, arenaflex stands as a trusted partner to clients seeking seamless health insurance verification, enrollment, and member record management. Our team operates at the intersection of technology, healthcare expertise, and customer advocacy, ensuring that individuals and families receive the healthcare coverage they rightfully deserve.

We are currently seeking a meticulous, tech-savvy, and compassionate Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist to join our expanding workforce. This is more than a data entry position—it is an opportunity to directly impact the well-being of countless members by maintaining the integrity of their healthcare information. If you thrive in a structured remote environment, possess an eye for detail, and have a genuine interest in healthcare operations, arenaflex invites you to become part of a purpose-driven team that values both professional excellence and personal well-being.

Your Role at arenaflex

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as a critical link between insurance portals, healthcare providers, and our valued members. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all data related to member coverage, provider networks, and policy adjustments is entered, updated, and maintained with the highest level of accuracy. Working remotely, you will collaborate with a supportive team that prioritizes open communication, continuous learning, and mutual respect.

This role is ideal for individuals who have prior experience in health insurance, claims examination, medical offices, or customer service within call center environments. At arenaflex, we believe that meaningful work comes from the intersection of competence and compassion—and we are looking for professionals who share this philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

As a core member of the arenaflex data management team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include a diverse range of tasks designed to ensure operational excellence and member satisfaction:

  • Maintain Accurate Member Information: Update member demographic and policy details promptly across multiple insurance portals. Ensure that all records reflect the most current information, minimizing discrepancies and delays in service delivery.
  • Process Policy Changes with Precision: Handle a variety of policy adjustments including terminations, reinstatements, and modifications. Each change must be executed with meticulous attention to detail to prevent coverage gaps or administrative errors.
  • Manage Health Coverage Details: Oversee and update coverage plans, including eligibility status, benefits, and plan limitations. Work diligently to ensure that all plan information aligns with regulatory standards and client expectations.
  • Research and Update Provider Data: Conduct thorough research to maintain accurate and up-to-date healthcare provider information within medical portals. This includes verifying credentials, specialties, network participation, and contact details.
  • Analyze and Interpret Healthcare Data: Apply your knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems to enhance data accuracy. Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and cross-functional teams at arenaflex to achieve shared objectives. Contribute to a positive, supportive work environment where every team member's input is valued.
  • Uphold Strict Confidentiality Standards: Adhere to all data privacy regulations, including HIPAA guidelines, and safeguard sensitive member information at all times. Maintain the highest ethical standards in handling protected health information (PHI).
  • Stay Current with Industry Changes: Continuously educate yourself on evolving healthcare insurance regulations, policies, and procedures. Proactively apply new knowledge to improve daily operations.
  • Meet Productivity and Quality Benchmarks: Balance speed with accuracy to meet established performance metrics while maintaining the quality standards that arenaflex is known for.
  • Provide Exceptional Internal Support: Assist team members and supervisors with data validation, report generation, and special projects as needed.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates should possess a combination of technical skills, industry knowledge, and personal attributes that align with our organizational values:

  • Proven Computer Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in data entry, screen navigation, and keyboarding. Comfort with multiple software applications, databases, and web-based insurance portals is essential.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work with the ability to identify even the smallest errors or inconsistencies in data.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Capable of managing large volumes of data, prioritizing tasks effectively, and consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Medical Terminology Familiarity: Working knowledge of medical terms, coding systems (such as ICD-10 or CPT), and healthcare documentation practices is highly preferred.
  • Multitasking Ability: The capacity to seamlessly handle multiple tasks, systems, and priorities without sacrificing accuracy or quality.
  • Independent Work Ethic: Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to thrive in a remote work setting while maintaining consistent communication with the team.
  • Collaborative Mindset: A team player who contributes to a positive work environment and supports colleagues in achieving shared goals.
  • Minimum One Year of Relevant Experience: Previous experience in claims examination, health insurance operations, customer service, call centers, medical offices, or related fields is required.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A foundational educational background is required; additional certifications in healthcare administration or insurance are a plus.
  • Reliable Internet Connection and Dedicated Workspace: A stable home office setup conducive to focused, uninterrupted remote work.

Preferred Competencies and Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience working with major insurance carrier portals (such as those used by commercial, Medicare, or Medicaid plans)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, electronic health records (EHR), or specialized healthcare data platforms
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to compliance best practices
  • Previous remote work experience with demonstrated productivity and reliability
  • Typing speed of 45+ words per minute with high accuracy
