Senior Technical Program Manager

You will join a team of Technical program managers that lead complex technical programs that advance Akamai's Cloud Computing Technology. Partner with the best As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you'll work with our Technology Group by aligning goals with Engineering leadership and their teams. You will plan, communicate, execute, and deliver major programs, products, and solutions. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading end-to-end delivery of complex, high-visibility, multi-team technical programs Aligning efforts across engineering, product, and business leadership while balancing multiple priorities effectively. Developing successful partnerships with engineering, product and program stakeholders across the organization Identifying areas for process improvement, architecting and proposing solutions and implementing the change management Providing guidance and mentorship to technical program managers and engineers on effective execution practices. Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 5+ years' experience with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, another related field or its equivalent. Demonstrate business expertise with capability to align program efforts with organizational strategy. Anticipate needs, identify gaps promptly, initiate actions to address gaps, resolve issues, solve problems, and eliminate obstacles effectively. Be extremely well-organized, details-oriented, motivated, and technically-oriented Have excellent and storytelling communication skills for both technical and executive audiences Demonstrate expertise in risk management, resolving problems, and effectively navigating uncertain situations. Utilize tools like Smartsheets, JIRA, Confluence, Aha, understand networking and cloud technologies, and quickly adapt to new technologies.
