As we expand our footprint, we are looking for dedicated professionals who share our passion for data integrity and operational excellence.

Why This Role Matters

The Data Entry Specialist position is the backbone of arenaflex’s data ecosystem. Every piece of information entered, verified, and reported directly influences strategic planning, operational efficiency, and the overall quality of service delivered to our hospitality clients. By ensuring that data is accurate, secure, and readily accessible, you will help maintain the high standards that define arenaflex and support the organization’s growth trajectory in a highly competitive sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update a wide variety of data—including guest records, reservation details, financial transactions, and operational metrics—into arenaflex’s proprietary and third‑party systems.
  • Perform routine data quality audits, identify inconsistencies, and resolve discrepancies to uphold the highest level of data integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—such as Sales, Operations, Finance, and IT—to gather missing information, verify source documents, and ensure completeness of datasets.
  • Organize, digitize, and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems, creating logical structures that enable rapid retrieval and long‑term preservation of critical records.
  • Assist in the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of data entry procedures, standard operating protocols, and best‑practice guidelines.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with strict adherence to data privacy regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Respond promptly to internal data‑related inquiries, providing clear guidance and support to teammates across the organization.
  • Generate timely reports, dashboards, and summary documents that translate raw data into meaningful insights for senior leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Participate in periodic training sessions and knowledge‑sharing initiatives to stay current with emerging data management tools and techniques.
  • Contribute ideas for automation, workflow optimization, and error‑reduction strategies that enhance overall productivity.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 0‑2 years) as a Data Entry Specialist, Data Clerk, or in a comparable role where precision and speed were critical.
  • Proficiency with data entry software, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and familiarity with cloud‑based collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven track record of maintaining high accuracy rates (typically 99%+).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple data streams simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities, enabling clear interaction with colleagues across diverse departments.
  • Understanding of data confidentiality principles, including GDPR, HIPAA (where applicable), and internal security protocols.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data management, office administration, or related fields are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with hospitality‑specific software (e.g., PMS, CRS, or revenue management systems) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with basic data analysis tools, such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, or simple scripting (e.g., VBA, Python).
  • Previous exposure to remote work environments, demonstrating self‑discipline, reliable internet connectivity, and a productive home office setup.
  • Certification in data privacy (e.g., CIPP/US) or quality management (e.g., Six Sigma Yellow Belt) adds competitive advantage.

Core Skills and Competencies

  • Accuracy & Precision: Ability to enter large volumes of data without sacrificing quality.
  • Analytical Thinking: Spotting patterns, anomalies, and trends that may indicate data quality issues.
  • Time Management: Prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and balancing competing demands.
  • Collaboration: Working effectively with remote teams, sharing information, and supporting collective goals.
  • Adaptability: Quickly learning new software platforms, processes, and industry terminology.
