arenaflex is a global leader in business travel management, delivering innovative, technology‑driven solutions to some of the most dynamic brands in the media and entertainment sector. With a heritage of excellence, arenaflex blends deep industry insight with cutting‑edge platforms to help clients turn complex travel logistics into seamless experiences. Our portfolio spans news bureaus, sports franchises, film productions, television studios, and live‑theatre tours, each demanding a unique blend of agility, creativity, and precision. As we continue to expand our footprint across North America, we are looking for a visionary Client General Manager to champion our entertainment travel practice and drive growth for our most strategic accounts.

Why This Role Is a Game‑Changer

In this fully remote position (U.S. or Canada), you will serve as the senior liaison between arenaflex and a portfolio of high‑profile entertainment clients. You’ll be the strategic architect behind travel programs that support breaking news coverage, international sports events, blockbuster film shoots, and touring productions. Your influence will shape how these clients plan, book, and manage travel, ensuring they stay on schedule, on budget, and on brand. If you thrive on solving intricate travel puzzles, love the fast‑paced world of entertainment, and enjoy building lasting partnerships, this role offers the perfect platform to showcase your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Client Insight: Develop an in‑depth understanding of each client’s strategic objectives, cultural nuances, and business drivers.
  • Account Planning: Craft and execute multi‑year strategic account plans that identify revenue‑generating opportunities, risk mitigation tactics, and service enhancements.
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct regular performance reviews, leveraging data analytics to recommend process improvements and cost‑saving initiatives.

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Travel Innovation: Design bespoke travel solutions for news crews, sports teams, film crews, and theatrical tours, addressing unique logistical challenges such as last‑minute changes, remote locations, and specialized equipment transport.
  • Technology Integration: Partner with arenaflex’s product and engineering teams to pilot new tools (mobile booking apps, AI‑driven itinerary optimization, virtual compliance platforms) that enhance client experience.
  • Policy & Compliance: Advise clients on travel policy development, ensuring alignment with safety standards, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Executive Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with senior client stakeholders, production managers, talent agents, and internal arenaflex leaders.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Global Business Consulting, Service Delivery, Implementation, and Meetings teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent arenaflex at industry conferences, webinars, and client workshops as the go‑to subject matter expert on entertainment travel.

Growth & Market Development

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospect new entertainment brands.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research, benchmark competitor offerings, and translate insights into actionable strategies that differentiate arenaflex.
  • Revenue Expansion: Drive upselling and cross‑selling of arenaflex’s portfolio—ranging from risk management services to data‑driven reporting tools.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing global accounts or leading large‑scale travel programs, preferably within the media and entertainment sector.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing growth strategies that resulted in measurable revenue uplift.
  • Strong knowledge of entertainment‑specific travel requirements (e.g., location scouting, crew accommodations, equipment logistics).
  • Proven track record of negotiating complex contracts and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and cross‑functional teams.
  • Advanced analytical mindset—comfort with data visualization, KPI tracking, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with travel management platforms (e.g., SAP Concur, Amadeus, or similar) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 25‑30 % of the time and maintain East Coast business hours.
  • Passion for travel, entertainment, and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with multinational entertainment brands or major studio networks.
  • Background in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant certifications.
  • Familiarity with emerging travel technologies such as AI‑based itinerary optimization, blockchain for secure payments, or virtual reality pre‑travel briefings.
  • Fluency in a second language, especially Spanish, French, or Mandarin, to support global productions.
