Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking motivated, customer‑focused individuals to join our team as Remote Area Managers. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring that safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards are consistently met. You will act as the bridge between our operational goals and the day‑to‑day experiences of your team, fostering an environment where every associate feels valued, empowered, and aligned with arenaflex’s commitment to delivering smiles.

Core Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Mentor, coach, and motivate hourly workforce members, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Safety & Quality Assurance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular audits, and champion a culture of zero‑incident operations.
  • Performance Management: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, on‑time delivery, and attendance; implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources teams to develop and execute plans that meet business objectives.
  • Customer Commitment: Ensure that every order is delivered to the right location at the right time, upholding arenaflex’s promise of exceptional customer experience.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify process inefficiencies, propose improvements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across first‑mile, middle‑mile, and last‑mile workflows.
  • Physical & Environmental Awareness: While the role is remote, you will occasionally need to lift up to 49 lb, stand or walk for extended periods, and adapt to variable temperatures and noise levels during on‑site training sessions.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Basic proficiency with computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, web‑based reporting tools).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to support operational needs.
  • Willingness to travel to arenaflex facilities for onboarding, training, or special projects (travel expenses covered).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role, preferably within logistics, warehousing, or retail fulfillment.
  • Familiarity with lean, Six Sigma, or other process‑improvement methodologies.
  • Experience using workforce management or scheduling software.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Certification in safety (e.g., OSHA) or quality management (e.g., CQE) is advantageous.
