Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for freight customers, handling inbound and outbound communications via phone, email, and chat.
  • Coordinate cargo movements to ensure shipments are dispatched, tracked, and delivered on schedule, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and service disruptions with professionalism, empathy, and timely solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, documentation, and customer interactions within arenaflex’s logistics management system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including operations, ground handling, and finance—to troubleshoot issues and streamline processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and share feedback with management to enhance overall service quality.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and security protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
  • Participate in scheduled shift rotations, covering early‑morning, mid‑day, and evening slots to support global cargo operations.
  • Assist in training new hires by sharing best practices and providing on‑the‑job guidance.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal safety, the safety of others, and the protection of confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse customers and colleagues respectfully.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with email, web browsers, and standard office software.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, or transport items up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Willingness to wear required arenaflex‑approved PPE, such as hearing protection, safety‑toe footwear, hard hats, and high‑visibility apparel when on‑site or during specific operational tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in freight, cargo handling, or a distribution center environment.
  • Proven written communication skills and typing proficiency (minimum 40 wpm).
  • Experience using logistics or transportation management software.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations, customs procedures, or hazardous material handling.
  • Multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish or other widely spoken languages.
