Remote Pharmacy Technician - License Required

PHARMACY TECH I – PRIOR AUTHORIZATION (REMOTE) Pay Rate: $20.00/hour Start Date: 07/13/2026 SCHEDULE Training Schedule: 07/13/2026 – 08/31/2026 Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST No time off permitted during training. Permanent Schedule:

• Standard 8.5-hour workday
• Schedule assigned after training based on business needs
• Candidates must be able to work CST hours regardless of location

POSITION OVERVIEW The Pharmacy Tech I – Prior Authorization role is responsible for handling inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, and members while supporting the prior authorization process. This position requires professional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately document information in a fast-paced remote environment. Clinical questions and escalations will be transferred to the pharmacist team as appropriate. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, and members regarding prior authorization requests
• Provide professional and courteous customer service support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of reviews and case activity
• Follow criteria-based prior authorization procedures
• Transfer clinical questions, escalations, and judgment calls to pharmacists
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
• Work effectively in a remote environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a dedicated, distraction-free workspace suitable for HIPAA compliance
• Must have wired internet connection with minimum:
• * 25 mbps download speed
• 3 mbps upload speed
• Must be able to remain seated and focused for the duration of the shift
• Must be comfortable working CST business hours
• Strong communication and documentation skills required
