[Remote] Business Development Representative
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Jetson is a company focused on revolutionizing manufacturing operations through advanced control systems. They are seeking a Business Development Representative who will work alongside an Account Executive to implement outbound strategies targeting manufacturing and supply chain accounts, driving engagement and booking meetings with key decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Partner with an AE to execute a targeted, account-based outbound strategy
- Research and prioritize accounts that fit Jetson’s Ideal Customer Profile, targeting COOs, VPs of Operations, Plant Directors, and Controllers
- Execute a high-volume, high-quality outbound motion (100+ dials/day) combined with thoughtful, persona-specific LinkedIn engagement
- Craft customized, insight-driven messaging tied to KPIs like labor utilization, overtime %, and productivity
- Qualify leads, handle objections, and schedule meetings that convert to pipeline
- Maintain structured outreach cadences in HubSpot, updating activity and progress daily
- Partner closely with marketing and sales leadership to test messaging and optimize conversion rates
Skills
- 1–2 years experience in outbound prospecting at a high-growth B2B SaaS startup
- Experience selling into manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain is a strong plus
- Competitive mindset - you thrive on winning and measure yourself against the best
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident phone presence
- Self-starter who brings energy, organization, and discipline to every day
- HubSpot experience preferred (or equivalent CRM proficiency)
