Read more at www.dsv.com Location: USA - VIRTUAL - US Texas Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: Business Support Specialist, Technical Writer Time Type: Full Time POSITION SUMMARY The Technical Writer will work hand in hand with the SMEs to create simplified work instructions, playbooks and quality alerts by utilizing the client SOP’s and QAB’s. The Technical Writer will report to the Quality Department while supporting the Program Management & Leadership Teams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receive SOP’s from the client and organize for transference to SWI templates Write simplified SWI’s by utilizing SOP’s Update SWI’s by working with site leadership, SME’s/Supes Support teams in writing Playbooks for leadership roles or programs Submit drafts to SME’s for approval Track document update closure for timely implementation Submit documents to document control Support the quality team with internal audits Other duties as deemed necessary by manager SKILLS & ABILITIES Education & Experience: The successful candidate for this role must possess an in-depth understanding of level 1 and level 2 documentation, be proficient in organizational skills, possess team spirit, successful communication with a varying audience, and must be proficient with computer applications. They should be able to orchestrate multiple projects and be able to prioritize as demand dictates. They will be professional, career driven, detail oriented and have strong computer skills. They will prepare detailed work instructions for operations and coordinate with SME’s for approvals and updates. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate in other situations.
