Become a part of our caring community The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive leverages targeted geographic analysis, engages with Physician offices to influence physicians to route patients' specialty drug prescriptions to Humana Specialty Pharmacy for fulfillment. The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive focuses on increasing orders to Humana Pharmacy, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenues. As a Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive you will spend time building relationships on front office to back office medical clinic sales calls within the territory. You will provide staff education and information on options for patient use of Specialty Pharmacy medications. Main Responsibilities: Manage a sales territory that includes CenterWell, a Humana-owned brand offering Primary Care, Home Health, and Pharmacy services. The sales territory includes Seattle, Spokane, Takoma, Bellingham, Lakewood Washington areas. Build relationships with front and back-office staff by conducting sales calls within the territory. Provide staff education and information on options for patient use of Specialty Pharmacy medications. Become a knowledgeable resource regarding specialty pharmacy medications and Humana pharmacy benefits. Educate clinics on the several patient benefits for using Humana Mail Order pharmacy - lower cost, easier approvals, resource assistance and a more comprehensive cycle of care. You will become a knowledgeable resource regarding specialty pharmacy medications and Humana pharmacy benefits. Required Qualifications

Previous experience working in sales with documented success Experience working in a healthcare setting and/or managed care environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partnering business segments Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point Must be comfortable with daily travel and approx. 70% of time to include potential overnight travel Must live within the defined sales territory or willing to relocate at your own expense Attendance at offsite team meetings, which could require flights and overnight travel This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits Your driving record will be evaluated as part of a third party background check and certain types or combinations of infractions may affect your eligibility for this position

Preferred Qualifications

Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $84,700 - $115,500 per year This job is eligible for a commission incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
