IT Project Manager Manufacturing
Job Title: IT Project Manager – Manufacturing & Enterprise Integration Location: Remote from Spain, with occasional travel to Switzerland and northern Europe (not be considered any CV that is not based in Spain) Role Overview: We are looking for an IT Project Manager (Senior Consultant or Manager level) with experience in manufacturing environments and enterprise system integrations. The role focuses on managing multiple IT projects (and in some cases, full program ownership) related to: · ERP (SAP / S4HANA), MES, CRM and logistics systems · Manufacturing system integrations and shopfloor connectivity · Application onboarding, vendor coordination and license-related activities In addition, the role includes leading Pilots and Proofs of Concept (PoCs), including AI-driven or new applications, ensuring structured validation before scaling. This role is expected to bring execution discipline, structure and transparency, operating effectively in complex and dynamic environments. Key Responsibilities: Project Delivery · Manage multiple IT projects end-to-end, from planning to rollout · Define scope, milestones and delivery plans · Ensure execution across integration, testing and deployment phases · In selected cases, take ownership of larger program scopes Pilots & PoCs · Lead pilots and Proofs of Concept (AI or new solutions) · Define clear objectives, success criteria and evaluation approach · Ensure structured execution within defined scope, time and cost · Support decision-making on scaling or stopping initiatives Integration & Execution Control · Coordinate integration between manufacturing systems and enterprise platforms · Track progress, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure alignment with objectives · Assess changes and deviations (time, cost, scope) before approval · Provide clear and structured reporting to stakeholders Delivery Structuring & Coordination · Bring structure to complex environments with multiple parallel initiatives · Ensure consistency in documentation, planning and reporting · Coordinate vendors, onboarding activities and related processes Stakeholder Interaction · Work closely with IT, business stakeholders and vendors · Drive alignment, follow-up and decision-making across teams · Communicate clearly in international and fast-paced environments Success in this role means · Projects and PoCs are delivered with clear structure and control · Time, cost and quality are actively managed and deviations addressed early · Risks and dependencies are visible and proactively managed · Solutions are validated before scaling and integrated effectively · The consultant brings clarity, reliability and execution focus Skills & Experience Required Core Requirements · Strong experience in IT Project Management in complex environments · Experience managing multiple concurrent projects · Exposure to ERP (SAP / S4HANA), MES and system integrations · Experience working with vendors and external providers · Ability to structure complex topics and drive execution · Strong stakeholder management and communication skills · Experience leading pilots or PoCs is a plus · Full professional fluency in English (C2+) Experience Profile · Typically 6–15 years of experience in IT project management · Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments · Experience in international and multi-stakeholder contexts Analytical & Consulting Skills · Structured and pragmatic problem-solving approach · Ability to translate complexity into clear plans and actions · Strong focus on execution and delivery performance Highly desirable · Experience in shopfloor or production environments · Familiarity with SAP, MES platforms, Polarion (Siemens), Dynamics 365 · Exposure to AI-related initiatives or innovation projects · German language skills Apply To This Job
