Junior Game Designer

Hypemasters is a fast-growing game development company creating innovative mobile and PC games driven by creativity and engaging gameplay. Alongside our main title, World War Armies, we are building new games across different genres. We are looking for a Junior Game Designer to join our team and support the design and development of game systems and features. This is a great opportunity to learn how to build core gameplay mechanics, understand game economies, and contribute to live game experiences while working closely with experienced designers, artists, and developers. Your Mission Support the design of new game systems and features that improve player experience Help write and update game design documents and simple user stories Work closely with artists, developers, and designers to bring features into the game Monitor feature performance and key KPIs (retention, engagement, monetisation), and suggest improvements based on data and player behaviour Assist in analysing game data and player behaviour to improve engagement Help test features, gather feedback, and support iteration cycles Contribute to balancing game economies and progression systems under guidance Participate in user research and usability testing sessions Support the team in improving UI and UX flows through basic wireframes or mockups Assist in preparing ideas for future features and roadmap planning What We Are Looking For 1–3 years of experience in game design, product design, or a related field Avid player of midcore mobile games (experience playing them is important, even if professional experience is limited) Basic understanding of game design principles and core gameplay systems Familiarity with meta features, progression systems, or economy design Strong willingness to learn and grow in game design and LiveOps Good written and verbal English skills Familiarity with game design or product tools (experience with Unity is a plus) Analytical mindset and interest in working with data and KPIs Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Apply To This Job
