Trustbridge South-East Asia Lead (Regional Head / CEO Track)
This is a remote position. COO / CEO-in-Training – Trustbridge Design & Manufacturing (South-East Asia) Build the Next Platform for Global Manufacturing Location: South-EastAsia ( South-East Asia, or East Asia preferred) Reports to: Founder, Vulcury Venture Studio Company: Trustbridge Design & Manufacturing The Opportunity Trustbridge Design & Manufacturing is building a platform for the global manufacturing economy. Companies developing new products often struggle to identify the right manufacturing partners, while highly capable suppliers lack consistent access to qualified opportunities. Trustbridge connects these two sides of the market. The company combines: Engineering design services that help companies move products from concept to production A curated global network of manufacturing suppliers Software tools designed to improve how product companies identify and engage manufacturing partners The business is already operating, generating revenue, and profitable, and is now entering a phase focused on scaling operations and building the platform to power global growth. Asia will be a critical region in this expansion, given its central role in global manufacturing supply chains. Why This Role Exists Trustbridge is seeking a COO / CEO-in-Training (South-East Asia) to work directly with the founder to expand and scale operations across South East Asia, and ultimately lead the region as CEO. This role is designed for someone transitioning from advisor or senior operator into a full company-building leadership role, with ownership of regional P&L and strategic direction. The individual will help establish Trustbridge’s presence across Asia, build supplier networks, and scale both service and technology offerings. The Venture Studio Advantage Trustbridge is incubated within Vulcury, a venture studio that builds and scales companies across technology, manufacturing, and financial services. Vulcury provides shared infrastructure including: Strategic research and market analysis Marketing and growth capabilities Operational and financial systems Technical development resources Access to advisors, investors, and industry partners This allows Trustbridge leadership to focus on execution and scaling without building every function from scratch. The Role The COO / CEO-in-Training (South-East Asia) will lead two core areas: Engineering & Design Services (Asia Expansion) Build and scale regional engineering and design-for-manufacturing capabilities Develop relationships with product companies across Asia Support companies in bringing products from concept to production Manufacturing Supplier Platform (Asia Network) Build and expand a high-quality supplier network across key Asian manufacturing hubs Contribute to the development of Trustbridge’s sourcing and supplier platform Ensure strong alignment between platform capabilities and regional market needs
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership Define and execute Trustbridge’s Asia growth strategy Build and lead the regional operations team Establish scalable systems and processes Platform Development Help shape the supplier platform roadmap with regional insights Work closely with technical teams to ensure product-market fit in Asia Commercial Strategy Drive customer acquisition across startups, product companies, and enterprises Build strategic relationships with manufacturers and engineering partners Organizational Development Recruit and develop the regional leadership team Build operational infrastructure for long-term growth Prepare the region for scale and potential capital deployment
Compensation
This is a co-founder level opportunity. Compensation includes: Competitive base salary Meaningful equity participation in Trustbridge Performance-based incentives tied to regional and global growth What Success Looks Like Over the next several years, the successful candidate will: Establish Trustbridge as a leading manufacturing partner in Asia Build a strong and reliable supplier network across key markets (India, Vietnam, China, etc.) Launch and scale the supplier platform in the region Drive significant revenue growth from Asia operations This role will naturally evolve into CEO – Asia, with full leadership responsibility for the region.
Requirements
Mandatory MBA or equivalent strategic leadership experience 10+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering services, or industrial sectors Strong operational and strategic leadership capabilities Proven ability to build and lead teams Entrepreneurial mindset Highly Preferred Background in management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, Strategy&) Experience in South-East Asian manufacturing ecosystems Experience with supply chain platforms or manufacturing tech Experience working with product companies or engineering teams Experience scaling early-stage ventures or business units Apply To This Job
