We’ll support, encourage, and guide you to reach your career goals Part of Lumine Group, an international group of tech companies Job description Software developer Job Details: As a Software Developer within our Professional Services team, this role involves the development of enterprise web applications taking advantage of open-source Java, Kotlin and Scala technologies. As well as developing new products, the successful candidate will also create new and exciting features for our core products in the telecommunication and online payment sectors. As a Software Developer you will be involved in all stages of the development process, from analysis and design to implementation and testing. Working in an agile environment, the role requires the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, as well as work independently when required. Clear and effective communication is essential to work closely with the Professional Services team and maintain an understanding of wider project goals. A collaborative approach and commitment to teamwork are important to success in this role. You will be given responsibility early on and should have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to the role, with the ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team. You will be mentored by an experienced support engineer and will get the opportunity to work on a wide range of solutions. Education Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.

Requirements

Essential Ideally at least 4 years’ experience as a software developer Highly skilled with Enterprise Java (J2EE) Spring Framework or other IoC containers SQL Database technologies, (MS SQL Server & PostgreSQL would be an advantage) Web 2.0 technologies, AJAX Any exposure to JSF, IceFaces, Wicket, Scala; Akka, messaging APIs e.g. JMS, AMQP Web 2.0 technologies, AJAX Hibernate or other ORM NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB Experience of CRM processes/systems Kotlin Web Services: SOAP and Rest Some Experience of Javascript, HTML and CSS Some Experience with Docker GIT Good communications skills; written and verbal. A persuasive communicator and facilitator, able to liaise with external and internal contacts at all levels Self-motivated, autonomous, organised and methodical with attention to detail Enthusiasm to learn new technologies Desirable Experience of telecoms billing processes and/or systems React Kubernetes Experience of CRM processes/systems CI/CD Tools Apply To This Job
