Senior Counsel Attorney

Bernstein Shur is seeking a Senior Counsel (10+ years’ experience) or a Senior Associate (5+ years’ experience) to join its Business Practice Group, to focus on capital markets transactions, including securitization, structured finance, and secured transactions. Our business law team represents a diverse range of market participants—including issuers, borrowers, banks, and other market participants—in supporting innovative asset finance and securitization transactions. This position is open to remote work in the United States and the successful applicant must possess corporate and/or finance transactions experience (background in structured finance and securitization is preferred). Minimum Education JD Certifications Admission in NY, ME and/or NH Minimum ExperienceMinimum 5+ years of substantive corporate finance transactions experience: including securitization, structured finance, and secured transactions. Direct and applicable law firm experience preferred. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work on complex financing structures. Structure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents, including securitization agreements and other financing instruments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including bankruptcy, tax, corporate, and regulatory attorneys, to support complex financings. Manage sophisticated client relationships.
