Senior Data Engineer
The client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with advanced data engineering, analytics, and science expertise. The ideal candidate will have senior knowledge in tools associated with data migration, data warehousing, and data science. As a boutique consulting firm, the right candidate will be flexible in their responsibilities for these key data services we offer, due to evolving client needs. Location: Only LATAM - 100% Remote. Working hours are based on the US Central–Eastern Time Zone. Role Experience and Soft Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering and data science.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and independently deliver scalable solutions
- Full lifecycle experience (architecture, build, deployment, support) in Agile/CI-CD environments
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience working across data science, analytics, and business teams
- Ability to support both reporting and advanced analytics use cases
- Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership
- Commitment to documentation and creation of reusable patterns
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external clients.
- United States of America Visa. If you do not currently have one, you must be prepared to complete the
necessary procedures in your country to obtain it, as this position involves travel. Required Technical Experience
- Senior knowledge of Matillion and Snowflake.
- Senior knowledge in ETL, ELT, and APIs.
- Proficient in SQL and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with data modeling and data architecture.
- Proficiency in Azure Machine Learning, Power BI, and Microsoft SQL Server.

- SnowPro Core Certifications, SnowPro Advanced Architect, SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
- Matillion Data Productivity Cloud Foundations Certification
- Qlik Talend Core Data Integration Certified Developer
- Certified dbt Developer
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Manage data warehousing solutions.
- Create custom scripts and components in data migration tools.
