Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6. Perform load, stress, spike, and endurance testing to validate system performance, reliability, and scalability. Monitor application performance and identify bottlenecks, latency issues, and resource utilization concerns. Analyze performance test results and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations for optimization and improvement. Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve performance-related issues. Support performance tuning initiatives across applications, databases, and infrastructure environments. Contribute to performance engineering best practices and continuous improvement efforts. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in performance testing or performance engineering. Hands-on experience with at least one performance testing tool such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6. Strong understanding of performance metrics including response time, throughput, CPU utilization, and memory consumption. Basic knowledge of APIs, SQL, and web technologies. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, New Relic, or similar platforms. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with development and QA teams in agile environments. Preferred Skills Experience supporting performance tuning initiatives across applications and infrastructure. Familiarity with modern monitoring and observability practices. Exposure to cloud environments and distributed systems performance analysis.
