The Job: As the Regional Category Specialist, you’ll be part of our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to: Contract Management: Review contracts and follow up approval process, work with internal stakeholders like Legal, Insurance, Finance, Operations. Project Management: Support with integration warehousing or transport projects Performance Management: Attend Performance reviews (QBR, KPI) with Logistics Partners and follow up on pending actions. Claims Management: Follow-up on all outstanding claims with our European Transport Claims team to make sure credits are collected. Freight Audit: Manage carriers on incorrect invoicing and approval of ad-hoc spend. Operations Support: work together with SBD Transport Operations team, supporting day to day queries from operations and carriers. Freight Accrual: Support Belgian team and SSC in monthly freight accrual and invoice approval process. Reporting: Set-up and roll out carrier KPI – Performance - Spend reporting/dashboards. Analysis: carrier data analysis and look for transport improvements – productivity. The Person: You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. Proven experience or knowledge in Logistics / Transport. Higher degree in Logistics / Transport / Supply Chain or related field is a plus. Microsoft office and Excel knowledge are crucial.
