This course will offer a space to learn about all aspects of racism, with a specific focus on how racism manifests in interpersonal contexts through microaggressions, microinvalidations and the impact of these experiences. Students will interrogate their own lived experiences as it relates to race and racism, and will learn how to address racism in their social work practice. Qualifications – Required Academic Degree: Master’s Degree Qualifications – Required Discipline: Social Work or related Qualifications – Required Areas of Specialization: PhD Degree an asset. Eligibility for appointment to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is required to teach graduate courses.
