Pay Range $33.05 - $49.60 Major Responsibilities: Analyze, develop and improve data platform solutions to meet business needs. Collaborate with operations teams to help design and document metrics that align with strategic objectives and ensure effective use of data. Manage small-scale projects and requests and assist on medium to large projects using standard project management tools and methodologies. Support the translation of business requirements into well-designed and validated data solutions that meet organizational goals including assisting in the analysis and validation of data from raw source to data solution. Provide accurate and complete documentation for all tasks, following industry standards. Provide support for ETL/ELT/data solutions, including problem analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Support training and educating users on tools and support upgrades/changes in all phases as well as appropriate data solution administration activities such as on call where necessary. Build professional skills by maintaining awareness of healthcare environment, platform technology (cloud and on prem), evidence based leadership, and informatics industry trends. In addition, to maintaining the Epic Cogito certification. Complete projects, requests and work that advance EHR, ERP and/or data skills Minimum Job Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge. Certification / Registration / License Depending upon the position’s focus, Certification(s) may be required or obtained within 6 months and maintained to vendor or department requirements. For Epic focused roles, Epic certification(s) in relevant Cogito/reporting application For Workday focused roles, Workday certification(s) in relevant WD reporting application Learning plan requirements to be provided with offer includes any missing certifications needed to perform the role. Experience No experience required with Degree. Equivalent experience in enterprise applications, data/BI tools, and/or database query/report writing required without a degree. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Demonstrate analytical and logical thinking, creativity, and communication skills Understanding or proficient with database querying and query design and data visualization concepts Team player with a positive attitude, strong commitment to customer service and a desire to learn healthcare related systems and business processes Knowledge of data and ETL/ELT tools Understanding of software or data development lifecycle and process design Proficient with Microsoft products Understanding of Change Management and healthcare concepts/workflows Understanding or proficient with data visualization concepts Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Travel outside of workplace is required and thus incumbent is exposed to weather and road conditions.
