Role Overview – Senior Customer Success Manager (Enterprise Retail)

arenaflex is seeking a highly motivated, detail‑oriented Senior Customer Success Manager to join our Enterprise Success team. This senior‑level position will be based primarily in Bentonville, AR (or Dallas, TX with regular travel to Bentonville) and will report directly to the Vice President of Enterprise Success. You will own the end‑to‑end success of one of our largest retail accounts, acting as the trusted advisor, strategic planner, and execution lead for all initiatives that drive adoption, usage, and measurable business outcomes.

The role blends strategic account management, technical discovery, and cross‑functional project leadership. You will partner closely with the client’s senior leadership, product teams, engineering, design, and support functions to ensure that arenaflex’s solutions are fully integrated into the client’s core operations and that the partnership delivers on agreed‑upon KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Program Development: Design, launch, and manage comprehensive programs tailored to the client’s retail objectives, aligning arenaflex’s capabilities with their business goals.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators, product usage metrics, and adoption rates; deliver regular status reports and executive briefings to both the client and arenaflex senior leadership.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential roadblocks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues before they impact project timelines or outcomes.
  • Technical Discovery & Qualification: Conduct deep‑dive technical assessments to uncover opportunities for expanded adoption, new use‑cases, and integration enhancements.
  • Project Execution: Lead the rollout of new capabilities, software upgrades, integration projects, and custom application deployments, coordinating resources across product, engineering, and support teams.
  • Solution Advocacy: Articulate the value of arenaflex’s mobile data capture and AR solutions, demonstrating how they can streamline retail processes such as inventory management, in‑store analytics, and customer engagement.
  • Product Influence: Capture and synthesize client feedback, translating it into actionable product roadmap items and feature requests in partnership with arenaflex’s product management.
  • Partner Enablement: Support key implementation partners and system integrators with product expertise, ensuring they have the knowledge to deliver successful joint solutions.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination: Facilitate seamless communication between internal stakeholders (sales, product, engineering, support) and the client’s teams, fostering a collaborative environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in presales, technical consulting, solutions engineering, software engineering, or program management within fast‑growing technology companies.
  • Demonstrated success managing enterprise‑level accounts, preferably in the retail or consumer goods sector.
  • Strong technical foundation with hands‑on experience in enterprise software systems, mobile ecosystems, and data capture technologies.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value for senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience delivering presentations, proposals, and executive briefings.
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyze usage metrics, derive insights, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Willingness to travel frequently to the client site in Bentonville, AR, and occasional travel to other arenaflex locations.
