Our commitment to safety, innovation, and community impact has positioned us at the forefront of the aviation industry. As part of arenaflex, you will join a diverse team of dedicated professionals who share a common purpose: to keep the world moving, one flight at a time. Whether you are just starting your career or looking to deepen your expertise in ground operations, arenaflex offers a supportive environment where ambition meets opportunity.

Why This Role Matters – The Heartbeat of Airport Operations

Every day, millions of passengers and countless pieces of cargo rely on the seamless coordination of ground crews. As a Ramp Agent (Customer Service Agent) at arenaflex’s Seattle hub, you will be the critical link between the aircraft and the terminal, ensuring that baggage, mail, and cargo are handled safely, efficiently, and with the utmost respect for our customers’ expectations. Your work will directly influence on‑time performance metrics, customer satisfaction scores, and the overall reputation of arenaflex as a dependable carrier.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do on a Daily Basis

  • Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, maintaining strict adherence to weight limits and handling protocols.
  • Guide incoming and departing aircraft to and from gate positions, ensuring timely connections and minimizing turnaround time.
  • Protect cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and adverse weather conditions by employing proper stacking techniques and protective coverings.
  • Operate ground support equipment—including tugs, belt loaders, tow tractors, and cargo carts—safely in congested ramp environments.
  • Utilize baggage scanners, handheld computers, and tracking software to verify accurate routing and destination information for each piece of cargo.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, report any malfunctions, and coordinate maintenance to keep the ramp operating without interruption.
  • Collaborate closely with flight crews, dispatchers, and fellow ramp agents to resolve any discrepancies or operational challenges in real time.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, safety‑toe footwear, and high‑visibility apparel at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area, promptly addressing spills, debris, or other safety concerns.
  • Participate in scheduled safety briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews to continuously improve operational excellence.

Work Schedule & Environment

Shifts are determined by operational demand and can range from early morning to overnight hours. You will work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on seniority and flight schedules. The role is physically demanding, requiring frequent bending, lifting (up to 70 lb), standing, and walking in all weather conditions—including heat, rain, snow, and wind. arenaflex provides a supportive team atmosphere, with mentors ready to guide you through the learning curve and help you advance your career.
