Role Overview – Senior Customer Value Director

The Senior Customer Value Director is a senior‑level, customer‑facing leader responsible for ensuring that our clients realize the full value of arenaflex’s spend management platform. This role blends strategic planning, data‑driven analysis, and executive relationship management to drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue expansion. You will act as the trusted advisor for a portfolio of high‑impact accounts, guiding them through adoption, value realization, and continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Customer Success Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers post‑go‑live, steering them toward defined success outcomes.
  • Value Planning & Execution: Lead value‑framework workshops, develop customized value plans, and execute on measurable success metrics.
  • Business Reviews & Insights: Conduct regular check‑ins, quarterly business reviews, and value‑driven performance assessments to demonstrate ROI.
  • Renewal & Expansion Management: Own the renewal process, identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, and drive expansion of annual contract value.
  • Customer Advocacy & Referenceability: Cultivate strong relationships that position customers as references, case studies, and thought leaders within the arenaflex ecosystem.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination: Partner with Product, Sales, Professional Services, and Support teams to align resources and deliver seamless experiences.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Leverage arenaflex’s AI analytics to monitor customer performance, identify trends, and proactively address risks.
  • Thought Leadership & Best Practices: Share industry insights, product roadmaps, and best‑practice recommendations to help customers stay ahead of market changes.
  • Customer Campaign Support: Design and execute targeted campaigns that reinforce value messaging and drive adoption of new features.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in customer success, account management, or consulting within the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) or Source‑to‑Contract (S2C) domains.
  • Proven track record of managing executive relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in driving renewal and expansion revenue for SaaS‑based solutions.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—including experience presenting to C‑suite audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with a passion for solving ambiguous problems and delivering measurable results.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or related) preferred.

  • Background in software, cloud, or SaaS solutions, especially within spend management or financial technology.
