Position Overview
This full‑time, work‑from‑home position reports to the Specialty Testing Customer Service Support Supervisor. You will handle a high volume of inbound calls, provide clear explanations of insurance coverage, process payments, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing inquiries. Key Responsibilities
- High‑Volume Call Management: Answer an average of 75 calls per day from patients, physician offices, and insurance carriers while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
- Insurance & Billing Guidance: Explain complex insurance benefits, cost estimates, and payment options in a clear, concise manner.
- Payment Processing: Securely receive and process credit‑card payments over the phone, adhering to PCI‑DSS compliance standards.
- Payment Plan Coordination: Initiate and document payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring mutual agreement and follow‑up.
- Cross‑Department Collaboration: Work closely with billing, collections, clinical, and finance teams to resolve reimbursement issues and improve collection rates.
- Accurate Documentation: Record every telephone interaction in the appropriate arenaflex systems, capturing details that support future reference and compliance.

Essential Qualifications
- Associate’s degree with at least 1 + year of relevant experience or High School diploma/GED with 3 + years of relevant experience.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insurance language into everyday terms.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems and web portals simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of medical billing concepts, including Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements.
