Property & Casualty Risk Analyst

Brown & Brown is Seeking a Property & Casualty Risk Analyst to join our growing team in Minneapolis, MN - this is a hybrid role, and you must be within driving distance of Minneapolis MN and must have 2 years of insurance loss data reporting.
Responsibilities
- Gather, manage, manipulate, and analyze data sets for various projects.
- Complete various standard or ad-hoc reports.
- Run loss forecasting using actuarial templates.
- Interpret and explain the outcomes from various reports, both internally and externally, verbally and in writing.
- Provide presentations and training sessions on various outputs and systems.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.
- Champion use of AI to enhance processes and drive ongoing innovation
- Set-up, manage, and support risk management information systems on behalf of clients.
- Utilize various Risk Management Information Systems to gather client data.
Requirements
- 2 years of insurance loss data reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, and to manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and dedication, no matter how small the task is at hand.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel & Power BI.
- Ability to travel overnight by car or airplane.
- This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle.
- Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position. Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical type of college major or background preferred; such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, etc.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and SQL encouraged, but not required.
- Working knowledge of Risk Management Information Systems encouraged, but not required.
