Why This Role Matters

As the eCommerce Customer Development Manager – arenaflex Marketplace, you will be the strategic bridge between arenaflex’s iconic home and personal care brands and the digital marketplace that connects them to consumers. You will translate high‑level brand strategies into actionable online sales and marketing plans, driving growth, market share, and profitability on the arenaflex platform. This role sits at the nexus of Marketing, Retail Marketing, Digital Commerce, and Content, offering unparalleled visibility and influence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams—including Retail Marketing, Digital Commerce, Supply Chain, and Omni‑Channel Marketing—to develop and execute comprehensive eCommerce strategies that align with brand objectives.
  • Own the full 7‑P (Product, Price, Placement, Promotion, People, Process, Physical Evidence) planning cycle for the arenaflex Marketplace, from forecasting and inventory allocation to promotional calendar management.
  • Manage the Home & Personal Care (HPC) profit & loss statement, delivering on Net Sales, Gross-to-Net (GTN), profit margins, market share, and executional excellence targets.
  • Lead the creation of quarterly and annual business plans, ensuring alignment with corporate growth goals and marketplace dynamics.

Data‑Driven Decision Making

  • Utilize advanced analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel) to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, average order value, sell‑through, and advertising ROI.
  • Present data‑rich recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic direction and resource allocation.

Marketplace Partnership Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison with arenaflex’s Strategic Account representatives, negotiating promotional opportunities, advertising placements, and joint business plans.
  • Collaborate with the Content team to optimize product listings, enhance search visibility, and drive shopper engagement through compelling copy, imagery, and video assets.
  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure product availability, on‑time delivery, and seamless fulfillment for online orders.

Cross‑Functional Influence & Collaboration

  • Influence internal stakeholders to adopt best‑in‑class eCommerce practices, championing a customer‑first mindset across the organization.
  • Facilitate regular alignment meetings, share performance updates, and drive consensus on tactical initiatives.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital sales, or category management, preferably within consumer packaged goods (CPG) or a comparable fast‑moving industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments while delivering measurable results.
  • Strong analytical acumen with a proven track record of turning data into strategic action.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Digital fluency and curiosity about emerging eCommerce trends, platform algorithms, and shopper behavior.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing sales, marketing, or eCommerce initiatives on the arenaflex Marketplace (formerly Amazon) or similar platforms.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of arenaflex Vendor Central (or comparable vendor management systems).
  • Proactive mindset with a history of anticipating challenges and implementing pre‑emptive solutions.
  • Previous exposure to P&L ownership and budget management within a consumer brand context.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $94,000 – $133,000 USD, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may receive discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentive opportunities.
