Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Interaction: Greet every customer with a friendly smile, maintain eye contact, and thank them for their visit. Anticipate needs and resolve inquiries promptly.
  • Point‑of‑Sale Accuracy: Process fuel and retail transactions using multiple payment methods, adhering strictly to arenaflex cash‑handling policies and ensuring each sale is recorded correctly.
  • Cash Management: Keep the cash drawer within prescribed limits, secure funds in the safe, and perform end‑of‑shift reconciliation with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Store Cleanliness: Perform routine cleaning of indoor and outdoor areas—including restrooms, pump islands, car wash bays, and aisles—to uphold arenaflex’s high standards of hygiene and presentation.
  • Foodservice Preparation: Prepare hot beverages and ready‑to‑eat items, manage inventory for arenaflex foodservice offerings, and restock shelves to maximize sales while minimizing waste.
  • Promotions & Merchandising: Actively promote store specials, cross‑sell complementary products, and ensure pricing accuracy on delivered goods.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety, security, and quality guidelines; report incidents immediately; and enforce food safety and age‑verification protocols in line with local regulations.
  • Vendor Relations: Work professionally with vendors and contractors, receiving deliveries, checking invoices, and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Attendance & Punctuality: Maintain reliable attendance, arriving on time for each shift and adhering to scheduled hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
  • Additional Duties: Support management with ad‑hoc tasks, such as inventory audits, equipment checks, and special projects, to ensure smooth station operations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proficient English communication skills—both written and verbal—to understand arenaflex policies and interact effectively with guests and teammates.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when handling cash, processing transactions, and maintaining store cleanliness.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and a calm demeanor.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Current food‑handling certification where required by local law (specific to certain locations).
  • Prior experience in a fast‑food, restaurant, or convenience‑store environment is preferred but not mandatory.
