  • Market & Customer Insight: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and user feedback to inform roadmap prioritization and feature enhancements.
  • Backlog Management: Oversee the grooming, prioritization, and sequencing of product backlogs, ensuring that high‑impact initiatives receive the resources they need.
  • Process Leadership: Champion best‑in‑class product development processes, refine meeting cadences, and standardize documentation to boost efficiency and transparency.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, quality assurance, design, and project management teams to deliver seamless product releases.
  • Execution Excellence: Drive timely delivery of product milestones, identify and remove bottlenecks, and maintain a relentless focus on quality and reliability.
  • Metrics & Performance: Establish success metrics, collaborate with the Insights team to track key performance indicators, and translate data into actionable improvements.
  • Team Coaching & Development: Mentor and grow Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Engagement & Retention: Implement strategies to keep the team motivated, engaged, and aligned with arenaflex’s values, reducing turnover and building a high‑performing unit.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary conduit between senior leadership and product teams, delivering clear updates, gathering feedback, and aligning expectations.
  • Influence & Advocacy: Champion the customer’s voice across the organization, ensuring that product decisions are rooted in real‑world usage and business impact.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience in e‑commerce, retail, or a closely related field, with a focus on customer‑facing UI/technology solutions.
  • At least 1 year of proven leadership experience, having mentored and guided product managers or cross‑functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex, multi‑phase projects on time and within scope.
  • Deep expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with a track record of implementing process improvements.
  • Proficiency with product and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, or Coda.
  • Solid understanding of web and mobile application development lifecycles.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging behavioral analytics, A/B testing platforms (Google Analytics, Segment, Amplitude, Mixpanel), and data visualization to drive decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Experience in the home‑improvement or building‑materials industry.
  • Background in UX research or design thinking methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based architectures and API‑first product strategies.

  • Collaboration & Influence: Build strong relationships across functions, negotiate trade‑offs, and align diverse stakeholders around common goals.
  • Problem‑Solving Agility: Quickly identify root causes, propose creative solutions, and adapt plans as business needs evolve.
  • Customer Empathy: Deeply understand the challenges of tradespeople and DIY customers, translating insights into delightful product experiences.
