Position Overview

The Customer Service & Lot Attendant role blends front‑line guest interaction with essential equipment management. You will be the first point of contact for customers entering the arenaxflex center, guiding them through rental options, answering product questions, and ensuring every piece of equipment on the lot is clean, safe, and ready for the road. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based at 282 Lynnway Rte 1A, Lynn, Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, both in‑person and via phone, and provide knowledgeable assistance on arenaxflex products and services.
  • Utilize the arenaxflex Scan mobile platform to process rentals, returns, and inventory updates quickly and accurately.
  • Move, hook up, and position trucks, trailers, and auxiliary equipment on the lot, ensuring proper alignment and safety compliance.
  • Perform thorough inspections of each vehicle and trailer, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and overall cleanliness.
  • Complete detailed equipment verification through the 1‑2‑3 Punch Certification Program, earning a $300 cash bonus upon successful completion.
  • Prepare rental invoices, accept payments, and process equipment returns, maintaining precise records in the arenaxflex system.
  • Install hitches, trailer wiring, and perform propane fills (certification provided after hire).
  • Operate a forklift safely after completing the company‑provided certification.
  • Maintain a tidy, organized lot and customer‑facing areas, adhering to safety standards and company policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training through the arenaxflex Academy, staying current on product knowledge, safety protocols, and customer‑service best practices.
  • Assist with additional duties as needed, such as seasonal promotions, inventory counts, and special events.

Essential Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help customers.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort using smartphone‑based applications.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing at least 50 lb, either independently or with assistance.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and to wear protective gear when required.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer‑service roles.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation or willingness to become certified.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude – understanding of fluid checks, tire inspections, and equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem‑solving mindset: ability to address unexpected issues quickly and calmly.
  • Team‑player attitude with a proactive approach to supporting coworkers.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Working at arenaxflex involves moderate physical activity, including standing for extended periods, walking on uneven surfaces, and lifting moderate loads. You will be exposed to moving parts, vehicle fumes, and occasional chemical odors; appropriate protective equipment (gloves, goggles, masks) will be provided and must be used as required. The role is a blend of indoor office tasks (computer work, paperwork) and outdoor lot duties (equipment handling, cleaning).
