Position Overview

The Store Customer Service Specialist is the front‑line ambassador of arenaflex’s retail experience. Working part‑time at our Parma Heights location (Store #701909, 6633 Pearl Road, Parma Heights, OH 44130), you will engage directly with wholesale and retail customers, understand their project needs, and recommend the right arenaflex solutions. Your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining the visual and operational standards of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, establishing trust and rapport.
  • Listen actively to uncover customer needs, then present tailored arenaflex products, services, and color‑matching solutions.
  • Process sales transactions accurately, adhering to arenaflex policies, cash‑handling procedures, and point‑of‑sale protocols.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain precise work order files, formulas, and inventory records to ensure product availability.
  • Retrieve, pull, and restock merchandise from the sales floor and warehouse, keeping aisles organized and displays visually appealing.
  • Operate tinting and mixing equipment to create custom colors that meet exact customer specifications.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks, and support delivery operations as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning of store equipment, fixtures, and work areas to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Stay current on arenaflex product features, new releases, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
  • Suggest process improvements and sales techniques that enhance the customer experience and drive revenue.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb frequently and up to 70 lb occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Flexibility to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help customers solve problems.
  • Ability to handle cash, credit, and electronic payment methods responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
  • At least one year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer‑service roles.
  • Prior experience selling paint, coatings, or related home‑improvement products.
  • Hands‑on experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Proficiency in a second language, especially Spanish, to serve a diverse customer base.
