Key Responsibilities

As a Part‑Time Customer Service Specialist, you will be the voice of arenaflex, delivering exceptional service to both existing and prospective customers. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

  • Answering inbound calls, live chat, social‑media messages, and emails with a polite, courteous, and professional demeanor.
  • Engaging customers daily to sustain and improve business relationships, ensuring each interaction reflects arenaflex’s commitment to quality.
  • Asking probing questions to accurately identify customer issues, concerns, or opportunities for upselling.
  • Maintaining and updating account information with precision, guaranteeing data integrity across all systems.
  • Applying “next‑call avoidance” techniques to resolve issues comprehensively, reducing repeat contacts.
  • Scheduling delivery orders, handling basic negotiations, and providing clear guidance for new and returning customers.
  • Managing general service requests, executing emergency scripts, closing loss accounts, and responding to contract or pricing inquiries.
  • De‑escalating challenging situations by following arenaflex’s customer complaint resolution policy, turning potential negatives into positive experiences.
  • Sending statements and invoices, performing soft collections on credit‑hold or past‑due accounts, and processing payments securely over the phone.
  • Supporting the set‑up of new customer accounts, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Meeting or exceeding performance standards outlined in arenaflex’s policies, including call‑handling metrics, accuracy rates, and customer satisfaction scores.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in business or communications is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a customer‑service role, preferably in a fast‑paced, multi‑channel environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal abilities, with a talent for building rapport across all levels of the organization and with external customers.
