The Customer Engineer – Microsoft 365, Copilot, SharePoint role sits at the heart of arenaflex’s service delivery engine. You will be the trusted technical advisor for our enterprise customers, guiding them through complex migrations, optimizing their collaboration ecosystems, and ensuring seamless adoption of AI‑enhanced productivity tools. Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Microsoft 365 & SharePoint Administration: Design, deploy, and govern SharePoint Online environments; configure site collections, libraries, and custom solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Copilot Integration & Management: Implement and manage Microsoft 365 Copilot across tenant environments, ensuring AI features are securely enabled, properly configured, and delivering measurable productivity gains.
  • OneDrive for Business Oversight: Administer OneDrive policies, storage quotas, and synchronization settings to guarantee data integrity and user compliance.
  • Technical Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve high‑severity customer incidents, especially those involving Outlook, Teams, and other core Office applications, while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Deployment Automation: Leverage SCCM, MECM, Intune, and Cloud Update mechanisms to orchestrate seamless roll‑outs of Microsoft 365 Apps, ensuring minimal disruption and consistent version control.
  • License & Activation Management: Oversee perpetual and subscription licensing models, enforce activation best practices, and align software usage with corporate governance policies.
  • Migration & Upgrade Leadership: Lead end‑to‑end migration projects from on‑premises infrastructures to cloud‑based solutions; guide customers through transitions from Office 2016 to Office 2019, Office LTSC 2021, and the latest Microsoft 365 Apps.
  • Installation Modernization: Convert legacy MSI‑based installations to Click‑to‑Run (C2R) packages, optimizing deployment speed, patch management, and security posture.
  • Collaboration with Cross‑Functional Teams: Partner with sales, professional services, and product engineering to deliver holistic solutions that address both technical and business challenges.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce clear, concise technical documentation, run‑books, and best‑practice guides; mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Essential Qualifications – What We Require

  • Minimum 10+ years of overall IT experience, demonstrating a progressive career in enterprise environments.
  • At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 Apps (including deployment, administration, and troubleshooting).
  • Deep familiarity with the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and its suite of governance tools.
  • Proficiency in the web versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with a track record of supporting end‑users in complex scenarios.
  • Solid understanding of both local and cloud‑based group policies, including Conditional Access and Mobile Device Management (MDM) policies.
  • Experience navigating environment‑specific challenges involving third‑party add‑ins, custom scripts, and integration points.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical abilities, with a methodical approach to root‑cause analysis.
  • Outstanding communication skills—both written and verbal—and a customer‑centric mindset that builds trust and confidence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or equivalent.
  • Hands‑on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation of Office 365 tasks.
  • Background in managing hybrid environments that blend on‑premises Exchange/SharePoint with cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Azure AD, Azure Information Protection, and security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
