Human Resources (HR) Manager
Role Overview The Head of Human Resources is the senior executive accountable for leading and scaling the organization’s people function. This role serves as a member of the executive leadership team and partners closely with senior leaders to shape workforce strategy, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and build a high‑performance culture across a multi‑site, growing enterprise. This position provides end‑to‑end leadership for HR strategy and execution across manufacturing locations and distributed employees nationwide. The ideal candidate brings broad HR expertise, a strong business mindset, and experience building HR infrastructure in complex, fast‑growing environments. Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on organizational strategy, workforce planning, and people‑related business decisions
- Translate business objectives into enterprise‑wide HR strategies aligned with both near‑term operating plans and long‑range growth goals
- Influence and guide leadership through periods of transformation, scale, and organizational change
Workforce Planning & Organizational Effectiveness
- Assess organizational structures and talent capabilities, recommending data‑driven improvements to enhance performance and engagement
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent continuity initiatives to ensure business readiness
- Drive organizational design efforts that support agility, accountability, and long‑term scalability
Talent, Rewards & HR Infrastructure
- Own enterprise strategies for talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and total rewards
- Establish and maintain compensation and incentive frameworks, including base pay, bonus programs, and equity participation
- Design and oversee comprehensive benefits offerings, including health and welfare, retirement, and wellness programs
- Provide strategic oversight of HRIS platforms and HR technology tools to enhance data integrity, analytics, and employee experience
Talent Development & Performance Management
- Build leadership development and enterprise talent programs that strengthen internal pipelines and bench strength
- Define and evolve performance management philosophies and frameworks that drive accountability and results
- Champion learning and development initiatives that build core capabilities and support long‑term growth
HR Enterprise Leadership & Governance
- Lead HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery across the organization
- Direct enterprise‑wide HR initiatives, transformation efforts, and cross‑functional projects
- Ensure full compliance with all employment laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Partner with leaders to navigate complex employee relations and labor matters with discretion and sound judgment
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience; or
- Graduate degree with at least 13 years of progressive HR experience
- Prior experience serving as an HR Business Partner in increasingly complex organizations is required
Preferred Experience & Capabilities
- Deep, hands‑on expertise across multiple HR disciplines, including talent management, compensation, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development
- Strong knowledge of employment law and multi‑state regulatory environments
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations, distributed workforces, and full P& L organizations
- Background working in matrixed and/or government‑contracting environments preferred
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and lead through change
- Proven success delivering measurable HR outcomes using metrics and analytics
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for analysis and executive communication
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
Compensation $175,000.00-$195,000.00 Yearly
