Lead Pediatric Early Childhood Educator
Our client is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children and seeks an experienced and compassionate Lead Pediatric Early Childhood Educator. This is a fully remote position, empowering you to shape curriculum and guide educational strategies from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate educational programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, focusing on holistic development including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. Your passion for early childhood education and expertise in child development will be key to this role. Responsibilities: Design and implement a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum that aligns with early learning standards. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all children, adapting strategies for remote engagement. Develop and execute lesson plans that promote exploration, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and identifying individual needs. Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and engagement. Provide guidance and support to assistant educators and volunteers. Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Adapt teaching methodologies for virtual platforms, engaging children and families in remote learning activities. Organize and manage remote learning resources and materials. Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere among staff, children, and families. Stay informed about current research and best practices in early childhood education. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with a focus on pediatric age groups. Proven experience in curriculum development and implementation. Deep understanding of child psychology, development, and age-appropriate learning theories. Experience with virtual teaching platforms and online engagement strategies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to manage a classroom environment effectively, both in-person and virtually. CPR and First Aid certification required. Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
