Job Description
We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist Technician whose main function is to respond to customer service requests by updating and monitoring regulations related to electrical/electronic products, bazaar, toys and others (non-food/non-pharmacy) for the commercialization of products in Spain. Additionally, the professional will manage technical documentation and respond to regulatory queries. In detail, this professional will:
- Update product sheets and database with legal and regulatory requirements (electrical/electronic products, bazaar, toys, etc.).
- Weekly follow-up of changes in CEN-CENELEC standards and update of internal reports.
- Identify and analyze sheets affected by regulatory changes, including the estimation of associated costs.
- Provide technical support and consultancy to internal departments on applicable legislation.
The professional will be integrated into the Regulatory Services team that also offers its services in other sectors. They will report directly to the head of regulatory services.
Requirements
- Higher degree in electrical/electronics specialty.
- Knowledge of the European and national regulatory-legal framework of the electrical/electronic sector to be able to apply the current regulations to the evaluated products as well as knowledge of electrical safety in consumer electrical/electronic products.
- Languages:
- Castilian (peninsula variant): native language
- English: high intermediate level.
- Office package medium-advanced level, especially Excel.
- As it is a documentary process, an organized and methodical person accustomed to working in a team is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience required. Additional Information
