Remote Part-Time Agency Ops Lead for Lifecycle Marketing
Agency Operations Lead, Head of Lifecycle Marketing Role Remote | Part-Time About Future Digital We're a growth marketing partner for venture-backed consumer health, women's health, and family brands. We run two disciplines deep — paid media and lifecycle/retention — as an embedded extension of our clients' teams. We're AI-enabled and human-led, with intentionally low client-to-strategist ratios. We're at the stage where the systems that run the agency need to be refined deliberately, by someone who's done the work. The role We're hiring an Operations Lead to refine and own how Future Digital runs — and to own a book of lifecycle client accounts. This is an ops-first role for someone who has experience with managing lifecycle/retention marketing teams and can translate that experience into systems that fit a media + lifecycle agency specifically. We already have the operating pieces in place — reporting cadences, onboarding flows, client processes — and you'll take ownership of them, sharpen what's rough, and run the operating rhythm that lets a small senior team deliver consistently. What You'll Own Agency operations: capacity planning, client onboarding, reporting cadences, project/PM systems, and the operating rhythm that lets a small senior team deliver consistently across both media and lifecycle A lifecycle book of business — as the accountable owner: you're the client lead and the project manager on these retention accounts (Klaviyo). You own the relationship and the outcome, while managing a team doing execution. Client relationship + delivery management: keeping these accounts successful — managing the client relationship so it stays strong, and managing the work (scope, timelines, quality, the people executing) so it ships on time and lands. This is project-management muscle as much as marketing muscle. Systems that fit how we actually work: define/improve systems that are realistic and supportive AI woven into the work: you actively integrate AI tools into both ops and lifecycle — reporting, QA, segmentation, content drafting, workflow automation — as the leverage that lets a lean senior team do the work of a bigger one. This is how "AI-enabled, human-led" actually shows up day to day, and you help set the standard for it across the team. You Are Lifecycle-experienced AND ops-minded. You have direct experiencing running lifecycle/retention programs for DTC brands AND you've built or significantly improved operating systems — onboarding, capacity planning, reporting, QBRs. This dual background is the non-negotiable. An ops-first temperament. You guard systems time. Client chaos is something you manage and contain, not something you let quietly consume your week. You can tell a client "that waits until Thursday" without flinching. An owner, not just an operator-within-systems. You take real ownership of how things run — refining, tightening, and improving process rather than just executing inside someone else's untouched. (We have a foundation; you make it better and keep it running.) A trusted client lead and a strong project manager. Clients believe their account is genuinely handled when it's yours, and you keep delivery on track — scope, timelines, quality, and the people doing the work — without things slipping through cracks. You're comfortable directing executors rather than doing every task yourself. An active AI integrator. You don't just "use AI" — you've built it into how you actually work, with specific examples of tools and workflows where it saved real time or raised quality, and a clear-eyed view of where it doesn't help. You treat AI as leverage, not novelty. Looking for a home. You want depth and longevity with a high-quality team — not a title to collect on the way to somewhere else. Comfortable part-time. This is a part-time role to start and you want it that way.
