Remote Aviation Operations Coordinator
Our client, a growing aviation services company, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Aviation Operations Coordinator to join their team. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of flight schedules, ground support, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of flight operations, managing communication between flight crews, maintenance, and clients, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere within the US. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of aviation principles, exceptional logistical skills, and the ability to manage complex schedules under pressure. Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage flight schedules, ensuring optimal aircraft utilization and timely departures/arrivals. Liaise with flight crews, providing them with necessary flight information, updates, and support. Communicate effectively with maintenance departments to ensure aircraft are serviced and airworthy. Arrange and confirm ground services, including catering, fuel, and handling. Monitor flight progress and proactively address any deviations or issues. Ensure compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies. Maintain accurate flight logs, operational records, and client databases. Prepare operational reports and analyze performance metrics. Assist in managing aircraft maintenance scheduling and record-keeping. Respond to operational inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders promptly and professionally. Support the development and implementation of operational procedures and improvements. Manage inventory of operational supplies as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in aviation operations, flight coordination, or a related role. Strong understanding of aviation regulations, terminology, and operational procedures. Excellent logistical planning and organizational skills. Proficiency in flight scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in record-keeping. Ability to work flexible hours, including potential evenings and weekends, as flight operations demand. Knowledge of charter operations or FBO services is a plus.
