Child Care Educator

- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support early childhood development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Manage daily classroom activities, including toddler care and preschool routines, ensuring smooth transitions and effective behavior management.
- Collaborate with families, specialists in special education and early intervention programs to support each child's unique learning journey.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Lead activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and positive behavior management strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of children's developmental milestones, lesson plans, and classroom observations to ensure compliance with childcare standards.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is essential.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills with a focus on behavior management and child welfare.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices including early intervention strategies.
- Experience designing curriculum development plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood education frameworks is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and external specialists.
