Position: In-Office AutoCAD Drafter: Lighting & Floor Plans AutoCAD Drafter- (In Person) job mi Gardens, FL. We are a dynamic and rapidly expanding custom architectural lighting manufacturer, dedicated to providing cutting-edge LED lighting solutions for a variety of projects. We specialize in crafting custom LED lighting, lighting components, and a wide range of accessories that are designed to meet the unique needs of our clients. Out of state applicants will not be considered. This position is for in person only, zero remote work is available. Core Responsibilities: Prepare and modify detailed AutoCAD drawings for residential and or commercial projects. Conduct site visits when necessary. Manage short term projects as needed. This position is for in office work only, no remote work is available. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and modify detailed AutoCAD drawings for floor plans, lighting layouts, and technical documentation.
- Manage interior projects, ensuring coordination with designers, engineers, and clients.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate lighting solutions into architectural designs.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
- Communicate effectively in professional English, both written and verbal.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Professional English communication skills (written and verbal).
- 3 years work experience in AutoCAD (required).
- Experience in preparing floor plans and technical drawings.
- Ability to manage projects independently.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing and lighting integration.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Must be eligible to work in the US (no exceptions).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and experience in electrical lighting design or manufacturing a strong asset.
- Related
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Revit, Sketch Up, or 3D modeling software (a plus).
- Prior experience in architectural or interior design firms.
