Sr. MS Dynamics - Supply Chain Consultant
Sr. MS Dynamics Techno-Functional Developer / Lead Location: Remote (USA) Travel: Approximately 1–2 times per quarter as needed Position Type: Contract / Long-Term Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Sr. MS Dynamics Techno-Functional Developer / Lead with strong expertise in Supply Chain, Distribution, and Warehouse Operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge combined with technical capabilities in ERP integrations, data architecture, MS SQL Server, and enterprise application ecosystems. This role focuses on optimizing inventory, logistics, order management, and warehouse processes while ensuring seamless integration and data flow across ERP, WMS, and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong domain expertise in Supply Chain Distribution, including:
- Order Fulfillment
- Inventory Management
- Logistics
- Warehouse Operations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Provide techno-functional leadership across ERP and WMS integration initiatives
- Support enterprise-wide supply chain optimization and process improvement efforts
Technical Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ER (Entity Relationship) data models
- Develop and optimize MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation processes
- Analyze and manage end-to-end data flows across ERP, WMS, and enterprise applications
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across integrated systems
- Support middleware and API-based integrations between enterprise systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- Data mapping
- Data flow
- System interfaces
- Integration failures
- Participate in system integration efforts involving ERP, WMS, and upstream/downstream applications
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as an MS Dynamics Techno-Functional Consultant/Lead
Advanced proficiency in MS SQL Server:
- Query Development
- Stored Procedures
- Performance Tuning
Strong understanding of:
- Entity-Relationship (ER) Modeling
- Database Design Principles
- Data Integration & Data Mapping
- Enterprise Data Flow Architecture
Hands-on experience in:
- Inventory Management
- Order Management
- Logistics & Distribution
- Warehouse Operations
- Strong understanding of ERP and WMS integrations
- Experience working in complex multi-system enterprise environments
- Proven ability to bridge business and technical requirements effectively
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise supply chain implementations
- Exposure to middleware technologies and API integrations
- Ability to collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones
- Strong solutioning and leadership capabilities within supply chain domains
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel approximately 1–2 times per quarter based on project needs
- Flexibility to work with distributed/global teams
