What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Facilitate discovery conversations with business users and stakeholders to understand content and metadata needs
- Assess documents and metadata from various repositories and validate against defined requirements
- Collaborate with technical teams to align metadata and content classifications with solution design
- Identify quality gaps in data and content, producing reports and recommendations
- Support test migration planning, validation activities, and knowledge transfer documentation
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- 5+ years of relevant experience in oil and gas or another process industry; owner/operator experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, content migration, or document control role
- Experience with document management or enterprise content management systems such as OpenText or SharePoint
- Familiarity with evaluating asset and operational documentation against defined standards and metadata models
- Working knowledge of document control processes and information quality expectations in project environments
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience working directly for an Owner/Operator in the oil and gas industry
- Post-secondary education in business, information management, or a related field
- Exposure to data/content assessment and user acceptance activities
