Job Summary The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing incoming payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role plays a key part in ensuring the company’s cash flow remains efficient and well-organized.
Responsibilities
- Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and send customer invoices, account statements, and payment reminders.
- Reconcile accounts receivable records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers to resolve outstanding balances.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or customer inquiries.
- Assisted with month-end closing activities and generated relevant financial reports.
- Maintain organized records of transactions and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve invoicing and collection processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
