Hybrid Execution Sales Trader (Chicago)
Position Title: Hybrid Execution Sales Trader (Chicago) This role is pivotal for driving sales within the equity execution and foreign exchange sectors. The position requires a candidate who can effectively manage relationships with asset managers, hedge funds, and the buy side. The individual will be responsible for executing trades and generating leads while navigating a fast-paced market environment. A strong focus on client relationships and the ability to prospect new business are essential for success. The ideal candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial culture that values independence and self-sufficiency. Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 / Year DOE Responsibilities:
- Engage in cold outreach and generate new leads while reviving dormant business
- Manage direct relationships with clients and onboard them into the trading system
- Enter and execute trades, typically involving significant sums
- Adapt to the continuous sales cycle driven by market conditions and client relationships
- Travel to New York and Chicago for initial onboarding and collaboration with engineers
- Hybrid Schedule: 4 days a week in office - 1 day at home
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of trading execution experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and located in the United States
- FINRA licenses: SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 (or 3) with active status required
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Experience with US treasury trading and sovereign bonds is preferred
- Familiarity with trading during Asia and European hours is preferred
